The Yachats Library is looking for a commissioner!
Are you interested in helping your Yachats community? The Yachats Library Commission is seeking to recruit another member to make it complete. Requirements? Residency within or close to the city limits, interest and enthusiasm for the library. That’s it! The Commission acts as liaison between the all-volunteer Library staff, and the city staff and council, works on planning larger projects and generally aids the smooth operation of this important piece of the community. Meetings are quarterly with other occasional meetings as needed on a particular project. There are exciting things happening at the library, including an expansion of our building and the hiring of a professional librarian. If the idea of helping with these—and other—projects spark an interest to participate, please contact David Rivinus at: firstname.lastname@example.org We’d like to hear from you!
