Special Meeting on 501 Plans

USDA Conducting Final Plans Review

The USDA is conducting their final review of the engineering drawings. Once the City has received the USDA approval, it will issue an Intent to Bid for the work.

Drawings Finalized

The City Manager and Facilities Manager met with an engineer on October 10, 2019 to review transitioning the conceptual drawings to engineered drawings for including in the bid document.

City Receives $91,300 Grant from USDA

The City has been awarded a $91,300 grant from the USDA for this project. The City will now provide preliminary designs to the Council for approval and draft a bid document.

Public Hearing for USDA Grant

The City Council held a public hearing on pursuing a grant from the USDA to help fund moving City Hall to the 501 Building.

Grant to Help Fund Move

City representatives met with the USDA to discuss a potential grant for the City Hall relocation to the 501 Building on May 2, 2019. The granting agency will be providing assistance with the grant application. The grant could be for as much as $50,000.
