NOTICE OF ELECTION
Notice is hereby given that on November 5, 2024, an election will be held for the purpose of electing a Mayor and 2 Council Members to fill the following terms:
Mayor, 2-year term ending December 31, 2026
2 Council Members, 4-year terms ending December 31, 2028
To qualify as a candidate for the any of above listed positions you must be a qualified voter and a resident within the City limits for at least one year preceding filing for office.
Each candidate for office must file a declaration of candidacy and submit a petition for nomination for office with the Yachats Elections Officer, Yachats, Lincoln County, Oregon no sooner than July 17, 2024 and no later than 4:30 p.m. Monday, August 20, 2024 All necessary forms are online at www.yachatsoregon.org, available at the City Office at 501 N. Hwy 101, between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Monday –Thursday.
