As part of its yearly maintenance program, the Yachats Public Works Crew will be flushing the water mains for most of January and February, beginning Monday, January 13, 2025. The flushing will take place between 8:00 am and 3:30 pm. Residents may notice a loss of pressure and possibly discolored water while flushing is in progress. This inconvenience should be limited to the time work is being done on your street. If you experience discolored water after 3:30 pm on the day of flushing, allow your taps to run until the water turns clear. If you experience other problems, please call City Hall at 541-541-3565.
