Annual Statewide Earthquake Drill
At 10:20 a.m. on October 20, 2022, thousands of Oregonians will “Drop, Cover, and Hold On” in The Great Oregon ShakeOut, the state’s largest earthquake drill ever! All individuals and families are encouraged to participate, either on their own or as part of a larger group.
DROP – COVER – HOLD………..AFTER HOLDING FOR 5 MINUTES………GET UP, GRAB YOUR ’GO BAG’ AND WALK UP THE HILL TO ABOVE THE TSUNAMI BLUE LINE………..GO TO THE NEAREST ASSEMBLY AREA (SEE LINK TO MAP)
