Paving
Paving is complete! Depending on weather, the County will be graveling the edges of new pavement and adding striping.
Street Striping and Transportation System Plan
The City Council decided at their August 7, 2019 meeting to utilize temporary tape striping until the Transportation System Plan (TSP) is completed. Council authorized pursuing grant funding for the TSP. The grant application is due in the spring of 2020.
Traffic Flow
The City Council decided to:
- Leave traffic as two-way from Pontiac Street to the State Park and to increase signage indicating the road is one-lane road. A stripe will be added to delineate a pedestrian path,
- Establish Ocean View Drive as one-way southbound from W 2nd to W 7th Streets, add signage for the one-way directionality, and stripe to delineate a pedestrian path.
